Through the graphic design forum Design Crowd, the studio have processed a series of proposals for the commission for Flink. Flink are a web design agency based in Melbourne, Australia and led by Managing Director, Rik de Boer. The name originates from the Dutch language meaning strength and the concept behind the short listed design is to represent this notion through movement and colour- the swirl is a strong full shape that is much like the wave that contains force and energy. The colouring used relates to colour psychology which states that blue is the colour for strength and trust. The dialogue created between Aussie based web design Flink and the studio was a clear and enjoyable experience. Results for this will be on the 1st of February.
